Over the school holidays, we hosted a two-day Animatronics course to explore the problems scientists and researchers face when observing and investigating animal behaviour.
As young researchers, participants posed bold questions to investigate.
They considered the location and animal they were going to observe and how their equipment could be used in the field before discussing any ethical issues they needed to respect before starting their own research on location.
Participants explored various stimuli, discussed big-picture thinking and were challenged by the programming of robotics equipment.
Check out what the young Animatronics researchers got up to.
